A main railway line from the nearby station connects the major cities of the coast. Public transport in the area is limited and it is therefore recommended to bring a car to make sure you explore the area and get the most out of your Puglia. This will allow you not only to visit the local cities with ease, but also to make day trips to nearby areas.<\/p>\n

You can visit Bari and its coastal towns, Andria, Trani, Gravina, Matera with its pebbles (place of the film The Passion by Mel Gibson) the Ionian coast, all the Salento with its picturesque towns and beaches, along with the many cities medieval fortified. The Roman sites of Egnazia and Metaponto, the rock churches, the ravines and many other attractions of Puglia.<\/p>\n

The national parks of the Gargano and the Murge, the marine reserves of the Tremiti Islands and Torre Guaceto and the numerous protected areas, vast and heterogeneous natural landscapes which are now perfectly protected. Nearby cities not to be missed:<\/p>\n
