The 7 Quarantane in Fasano \u2013 the entire period of Lent
<\/strong>On the occasion of Lent, we organize the preparation of seven Quarantane in the historic center of Fasano with the aim of recovering the ancient agricultural tradition that over time risks being lost.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>The Cultural Association \u201cCocolicchio\u201d with the patronage of the Municipality of Fasano Organize the \u201cFanove of S. Giuseppe among the trulli of Cocolicchio\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Rites of Holy Week \u2013 April 13-20, 2025
<\/strong>The most important moments of the religious rites of the Holy Week take place starting from Holy Thursday. At the end of the religious celebration begins the traditional visit of the faithful to the \u201cSepolcri\u201d or \u201cAltar of the reposition\u201d, followed by the processions of \u201cJesus in the Garden of Olives\u201d and of \u201cJesus Flagellato\u201d. On Good Friday in the morning the procession of the statue \u201cEcce Homo\u201d and to follow that of the mysteries of \u201cJesus under the cross\u201d and of the \u201cChrist expiring\u201d. Always on Friday, but in the evening, appointment with the parade of the faithful of the \u201cPiet\u00e0\u201d. In succession, the processions of \u201cJesus deposed in the sepulcher\u201d and of \u201cMary of Sorrows\u201d: the latter, the longest, concludes the processions that precede Easter. The \u201cVia Crucis\u201d, a living event organized by the Anspi \u201cDon Nicola Carbonara\u201d, which usually takes place on the Wednesday of the Holy Week, should be noted in this period. The rites of the Holy Week end with the Easter day in which there is the solemn procession of \u201cRisen Jesus\u201d in Fasano, Pezze di Greco and Montalbano.

<\/strong>On Thursday after Easter, the mayor goes to the shrine of the Holy Mother of Pozzo Guacito, and during the mass he gives a large votive candle. Then follows a solemn procession.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>In the third weekend of June there is the most awaited festival of the year, occasion for the illuminations, the fireworks, the procession of the patron saints and the historical procession \u201cdella Scamiciata\u201d with the re-enactment of the victory over the Turks.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>During the Christmas season in the \u201cLama del Trappeto\u201d rock village with caves, once housing huts, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees.<\/p>\n

Feast of San Francesco da Paola \u2013 August 2025
<\/strong>On the second Saturday and Sunday of August, this feast is held in honor of the Saint. On Saturday there is a big swordfish festival, on Sunday a procession on the sea with the statue of the Saint takes place.<\/p>\n

Markets in the historic center \u2013 December 2025
<\/strong>For the Christmas period, the historic center of Fasano becomes the setting for the setting of Christmas themed markets and craft and art markets.<\/p>\n

Le 7 Quarantane a Fasano \u2013 tutto il periodo di quaresima<\/strong>
In occasione della Quaresima, si organizza l\u2019allestimento di sette Quarantane all\u2019interno del centro storico di Fasano con l\u2019obiettivo di recuperare l\u2019antica tradizione agricola che col tempo rischia di perdersi.<\/p>

Fanove di S. Giuseppe fra i trulli di Cocolicchio \u2013 19 marzo 2026<\/strong>
L\u2019Associazione Culturale \u201cCocolicchio\u201d con il patrocinio del Comune di Fasano Organizzano le \u201cFanove di S. Giuseppe fra i trulli di Cocolicchio\u201d.<\/p>

I Riti della Settimana Santa \u2013 dal 29 marzo al 5 aprile 2026<\/strong>
I momenti pi\u00f9 importanti dei riti religiosi della Settimana Santa si svolgono a partire dal Gioved\u00ec Santo. Al termine della celebrazione religiosa inizia la tradizionale visita dei fedeli ai \u201cSepolcri\u201d o \u201cAltari della reposizione\u201d, a cui seguono le processioni di \u201cGes\u00f9 nell\u2019orto degli ulivi\u201d e di \u201cGes\u00f9 Flagellato\u201d. Il venerd\u00ec Santo in mattinata la processione della statua \u201cEcce Homo\u201d e a seguire quella dei misteri di \u201cGes\u00f9 sotto la croce\u201d e del \u201cCristo spirante\u201d.\u00a0 Sempre il venerd\u00ec, ma in serata, appuntamento con il corteo dei fedeli della \u201cPiet\u00e0\u201d. In successione, le processioni di \u201cGes\u00f9 deposto nel sepolcro\u201d e di \u201cMaria Addolorata\u201d: quest\u2019ultima, la pi\u00f9 lunga, conclude le processioni che precedono la Pasqua.
Da segnalare in questo periodo la \u201cVia Crucis\u201d vivente organizzata dall\u2019 Anspi \u201cDon Nicola Carbonara\u201d che si svolge solitamente il mercoled\u00ec della Settimana Santa.
I riti della Settimana Santa terminano con la Pasqua giorno in cui \u00e8 prevista la solenne processione di \u201cGes\u00f9 risorto\u201d in Fasano, Pezze di Greco e Montalbano.<\/p>

Pasquetta dei Fasanesi \u2013 il 9 aprile 2026<\/strong>
Il gioved\u00ec dopo Pasqua, il sindaco si reca in corteo al santuario della Madre Santa di Pozzo Guacito, e durante la messa dona un grande cero votivo. Segue poi una solenne processione.<\/p>

Sagra del fiorone \u2013 giugno 2026<\/strong>
L\u2019Associazione culturale \u201cTempo ritrovato\u201d da vita alla Sagra del fiorone, con mostra, spettacolo e degustazione di prodotti tipici locali, nonch\u00e9 il fantastico gelato al fiorone prodotto in questi giorni!<\/p>

Nel terzo week end di giugno si svolge la festa pi\u00f9 attesa dell\u2019anno, occasione per le luminarie, i fuochi pirotecnici, la processione dei santi Patroni ed il corteo storico \u201cdella Scamiciata\u201d con la rievocazione della vittoria sui turchi.<\/p>

Rievocazione storica che si tiene a Fasano nel mese di Giugno per ricordare la vittoria ottenuta sui Turchi il 02 giugno 1678.<\/p>

Festa patronale di Pezze di Greco \u2013 luglio 2026<\/strong>
Il Comitato Festa Patronale mette a punto otto giorni di festeggiamenti, in onore di Maria Santissima del Pozzo e della Beata Vergine del Carmine, con eventi sportivi, religiosi e musicali.<\/p>

Festa di San Francesco da Paola \u2013 agosto 2026<\/strong>
Il secondo sabato e domenica di agosto, si svolge questa festa in onore del Santo. Il sabato si tiene una grande Sagra del pesce spada, la domenica si svolge una processione sul mare con la statua del Santo.<\/p>

Presepe vivente di Pezze di Greco \u2013 dal 26 dicembre 2026 al 6 gennaio 2027<\/strong>
Durante il periodo delle feste natalizie nel villaggio rupestre \u201cLama del Trappeto\u201d con grotte, un tempo anfratti abitativi, circondato da ulivi secolari.<\/p>

Mercatini nel centro storico \u2013 dicembre 2026<\/strong>
Per il periodo natalizio il centro storico di Fasano diventa scenario per l\u2019allestimento di mercatini natalizi a tema e mercatini d\u2019artigianato e d\u2019arte.<\/p>
